playing at the beach in Pacific Palisades - {Bay Area Family Photographer}

It was so fun doing a session in my hometown, Pacific Palisades, at a spot I came to a lot as a kid, Will Rogers Beach. You would think being a Californian photographer that you get many opportunities for beach photos but I actually only get to do them ever so often, and when I do I love it! I loved that this family just all played with each other and we got such great candid photos of them just being together having fun. I love when a family can just interact and not even really pay attention to me - its the best...just them, the beach, lots of pelicans (I guess there are a lot of anchovies in the water drawing an influx of birds to Will Rogers Beach) and playing. Thank you for all the smiles and allowing me to just come along to your family beach day.

running free - Presidio, Lovers Lane - {Bay Area Family Photographer}

oh to be young...to have the energy to just run and run and run...and not even be out of breath. Loved shooting this sweet family again in the Presidio by the troll bridge (what this 5 year old told me they called it) aka Lover's Lane trail in the Presidio. I loved capturing this family's energy with one another and then just letting their kids be kids with Dad playing pretend with his daughter and letting her just run free. So nice to see, no structure, no forced smiling, just letting them be them. Thanks for having me there, I felt like I was spying on the perfect family day!
