a warm day and a boy on the way

Remember that hot day last week in San Francisco before it turned winter again!? We quickly escaped to the sea to do this shoot. It made me miss Fall in SF so bad, I would say summer but we all know what summer looks like in SF #frigid! This family is expecting baby #2 and I couldn't be more honored they called me again to capture another new addition. I love watching families grow, and this little big almost 2 year old just had his newborn shots a mere 18 months ago - crazy how fast they grow...don't blink or you'll miss it! Thanks for the beautiful day at Crissy Fields and can't wait to meet this little baby boy when he arrives!

That Glow

This mama has the glow - the one they talk about. Especially when she said to me she wanted these images because it was the most feminine she had ever felt and this is what the female body was made to do - so profound. I wish I had that outlook when I was pregnant. I think it just takes a glow. This sweet couple has been wanting a baby since they met and they are finally getting their little dream this May and I can't wait to meet him or her! Surprises are the best - especially when they are babies!
