A beach is a beach - {San Francisco Family Photographer}

You would think a beach is a beach no matter where you are, but as I sat down to edit these photos they just look so San Francisco - it was actually a very unseasonably warm summer day during this session but the beaches here just look a little crisper to me, its hard to describe. But a beach is a beach probably to a two year old, whether it be in sunny Maui or crisp Baker Beach in San Francisco. You put some sand in your hands and an ocean on your toes and a beach is a beach. Don't we all wish life could be so carefree...

It was so fun doing a session in my hometown, Pacific Palisades, at a spot I came to a lot as a kid, Will Rogers Beach. You would think being a Californian photographer that you get many opportunities for beach photos but I actually only get to do them ever so often, and when I do I love it! I loved that this family just all played with each other and we got such great candid photos of them just being together having fun. I love when a family can just interact and not even really pay attention to me - its the best...just them, the beach, lots of pelicans (I guess there are a lot of anchovies in the water drawing an influx of birds to Will Rogers Beach) and playing. Thank you for all the smiles and allowing me to just come along to your family beach day.
